Puff Pastry with Cheese and Ham

Crispy, golden and filled with melted cheese and savory ham — this is one of the easiest snacks you can make with puff pastry.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 150 g ham slices
- 150 g grated cheese or sliced cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp mustard or cream cheese, optional
- sesame seeds, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles or squares.
- Spread a little mustard or cream cheese if using.
- Add ham and cheese to each piece.
- Fold the pastry over and press the edges with a fork.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Serve warm while the cheese is still melty.
