🍫 Nestlé Toll House Death by Chocolate Cake – Fudgy, Moist & Dangerously Delicious!

This Death by Chocolate Cake is a chocolate lover’s fantasy: layers of moist chocolate cake, melty Nestlé Toll House chips, rich pudding, and fluffy whipped topping — all stacked into one sinfully delicious dessert.

🛒 Ingredients

🥣 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
🍫 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
🥛 2 cups cold milk
🍫 1 bag (12 oz) Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
🍫 1 bag (12 oz) Nestlé Toll House milk chocolate chips (or mix them)
🥄 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
🍫 Optional garnish: shaved chocolate, chocolate syrup, or extra chips


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Bake the Cake:
Prepare chocolate cake according to box instructions in a 9×13″ pan. Let cool completely, then cut into cubes.

2️⃣ Make the Pudding:
In a bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Chill while prepping the rest.

3️⃣ Layer the Cake:
In a large trifle bowl or 9×13″ glass pan, layer half of the cake cubes.

4️⃣ Add the Good Stuff:
Spread half of the pudding over the cake layer. Sprinkle with half the Toll House chocolate chips. Top with half the whipped topping.

5️⃣ Repeat:
Add remaining cake cubes, pudding, chocolate chips, and whipped topping. Smooth the top.

6️⃣ Chill:
Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours before serving so it sets and flavors meld.

7️⃣ Serve:
Top with more chocolate chips, syrup drizzle, or curls if desired. Spoon and swoon. 😍
