This Baked Fried Chicken gives you all the crunchy coating and juicy interior of traditional fried chicken β€” but it’s baked in the oven with less mess, less oil, and way more ease!

1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken:
In a large bowl or bag, mix chicken, buttermilk, and all seasonings. Let marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the fridge.

In a shallow bowl, mix crushed cornflakes (or breadcrumbs) with flour. Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in the breading mix, pressing firmly to coat.

Place chicken on the prepared rack. Lightly drizzle or spray the tops with oil or melted butter for maximum crisp.

5️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and cooked through (internal temp: 165Β°F/74Β°C).

Let rest 5 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or honey mustard dipping sauce!
