πŸ›’ Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 🧈 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 🍬 2 cups granulated sugar
  • πŸ₯š 4 large eggs
  • 🌿 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 🌾 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • πŸ₯› 1 cup buttermilk
  • πŸ§‚ 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • πŸ§‚ 1/2 tsp salt

For the Butter Glaze:

  • 🧈 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 🍬 3/4 cup sugar
  • πŸ’§ 2 tbsp water
  • 🌿 2 tsp vanilla extract

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare Pan
Preheat your oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan very well to prevent sticking.

2️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.

3️⃣ Add Eggs & Vanilla
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Combine Dry & Wet
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the batter alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour.

5️⃣ Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into your prepared bundt pan. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

6️⃣ Make the Glaze
While the cake is baking, heat the butter, sugar, and water in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved (don’t boil). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

7️⃣ Soak the Cake
As soon as the cake comes out of the oven, poke holes all over it with a skewer or fork. Slowly pour the warm glaze over the hot cake in the pan.

8️⃣ Cool & Unmold
Let the cake cool completely in the pan so the glaze can soak in. Then invert onto a plate and enjoy!
