🌮 Oven Baked Tacos – Crispy, Cheesy & Crowd-Pleasing!

These Oven Baked Tacos are a genius twist on taco night — crispy shells stuffed with seasoned beef and melted cheese, all baked to golden perfection. No stovetop mess, just grab-and-go deliciousness!

🛒 Ingredients

🥩 1 lb ground beef
🧅 1/2 small onion, diced
🌮 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade mix)
🥫 1/2 cup tomato sauce or salsa
🧀 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
🌮 10 crunchy taco shells (stand-and-stuff work best)
🌿 Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, sour cream, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, hot sauce


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.

2️⃣ Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef and onion until fully browned. Drain excess fat.

3️⃣ Season & Sauce:
Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.

4️⃣ Fill the Shells:
Spoon the beef mixture evenly into each taco shell. Top with shredded cheese.

5️⃣ Bake:
Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and taco shells are golden and crispy.

6️⃣ Top & Serve:
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy hot!
