✨ Classic Banana Bread ✨

Soft, tender, and bursting with banana flavor — perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert!


🍌 Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3–4 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 ¼ cups)
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

🍌 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

3️⃣ Cream butter and sugar:
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

4️⃣ Add eggs and bananas:
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.

5️⃣ Combine:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Mix gently until just combined — do not overmix!
Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.

6️⃣ Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
(If the top browns too fast, lightly cover with foil during the last 15 minutes.)

7️⃣ Cool and serve:
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
