Tender shrimp, silky fettuccine, and a garlicky parmesan Alfredo sauce — all cooked in one pan!
⭐ Ingredients:
- 🍤 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste
- 🌶 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 🧄 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 🧈 2 tbsp butter
- 🥄 1 tbsp olive oil
- 🍝 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 🥛 2 cups heavy cream
- 💧 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (or water + bouillon)
- 🧀 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 🌿 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 🌿 Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Sear the Shrimp:
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side, until just pink. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Build the Base:
In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
3️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
Add fettuccine directly into the liquid. Stir occasionally and cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and sauce is slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Finish the Sauce:
Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let it melt into a creamy sauce.
5️⃣ Combine & Serve:
Add shrimp back into the pan. Toss gently to coat everything in that creamy Alfredo goodness.
Garnish with chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan. Serve hot!
