Tender, buttery cookies with crunchy pecans and a snowy sugar coating β€” irresistible and nostalgic!

⭐ Ingredients:

  • 🧈 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 🍚 1/2 cup powdered sugar, plus more for rolling
  • 🍦 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 🌾 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 🌰 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • πŸ§‚ 1/4 tsp salt

1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Set your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar:
In a large bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix well.

3️⃣ Add Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add flour, salt, and chopped pecans. Mix until a soft dough forms β€” it may seem crumbly but will hold when pressed.

4️⃣ Shape the Cookies:
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.

5️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until bottoms are light golden. Do not overbake β€” they should stay pale on top.

6️⃣ Roll in Sugar:
Let cool for 5 minutes, then roll warm cookies in powdered sugar. Let cool completely, then roll a second time for that perfect snowy look! ❄️
